ABOUT CASSANDRA

With a mix of Brazilian, Spanish, English and German nationalities, Cassandra's love for world music, travel, arts and culture attracted her to the performing arts at a very young age. After training as an actress and spending many years experimenting and training in a variety of different dance styles, Cassandra now specialises in Brazilian dance- Samba and Afro fusion. She has performed with various groups including Claudio kron do Brazil, Estrella de Norte, Maracatu Nao E, Niteroi Samba school, Brighton school of Samba, Voudoo Vaudaville, Cyba Drummers and Danca Kaito and is regularly returning to Brazil to continue her training and technique.

Cassandra is currently teaching samba dance for The Brighton School Of Samba, working as an actress and producing a stage show derived from the legendary street theatre show "Maco" combining theatre, dance, mime and and live music.
